Get to Know Our Team

  • After the first session, I was surprised how easy and comfortable I found it. I am able to be on time and in the comfort of my own home.
    Bill S.
  • Telehealth has allowed me to access the essential help I have needed and I'm deeply grateful for it. It even allowed us to have a joint session with a family member of mine who lives hundreds of miles away!
    Clarissa F.
  • Telehealth has allowed me to maintain my recovery and address issues which have come up … It has been also very instrumental for the isolation the COVID shutdowns caused.
    Antonio G.
  • I've been able to meet with my therapist far more often via telehealth … It has been extremely easy to use, and perhaps even more efficacious, as I'm more comfortable discussing difficult issues that need to be addressed.
    Lian W.

The Basics

Scheduling

Visit here or call 781-246-2003. Our office will be in touch within 48 hours to gather additional information and enroll you in our program.

Duration

Session duration and frequency will be determined by you and your therapist. Sessions typically range from 45-60 minutes and may begin as weekly appointments, and will be  adjusted based on your needs.

Needed Technology

To best engage with telehealth, you’ll need a device that allows both video and audio. This can be a smartphone, tablet, or laptop/computer with camera. Before your initial appointment we will walk you through the process so you are prepared for your first visit.

Who We Serve

We are currently only seeing clients who live in Massachusetts due to clinician licensure and insurance reimbursements.

The Riverside Network of Care

Riverside Community Care has many programs throughout Massachusetts, including substance use support, emergency services, respite, intensive supports for youth, and many more.  If you and your clinician decide more specialized supports are needed, your clinician will easily be able to link you into the Riverside network.

Privacy

We are currently using a specialized version of Zoom that is private, secure, and HIPPA-compliant.

How are you feeling?

For many of us, it’s hard to know the difference between feeling nervous and having anxiety. Or at what point being sad turns into depression.

Take a short, online quiz to see if how you’re feeling matches common symptoms of conditions like anxiety, depression, substance use, and a range of others. You can keep the results private, or you can share them with your Riverside TeleCare therapist.

FAQs

What insurance do you accept?

Our therapists are currently in network with almost all insurance carriers. We accept most commercial insurance plans (except for Cigna and Aetna), all MassHealth plans along with Medicare. Our intake coordinator will be able to verify your insurance benefits and offer information on billing, copayment, and verify any other information needed to get you started.

How much will my appointment cost?

The cost of your appointment will vary based on your payment method and insurance. To check your insurance benefits, we recommend you call the customer service number on the back of your card. Be sure to ask about your “behavioral health benefits” and if they cover telehealth.

What should I expect to get started with Riverside TeleCare?

Our intake coordinator will contact you, take some information, and make sure Riverside TeleCare services will meet your needs. We will complete some paperwork and then schedule you for an initial intake with our program.  After this intake is completed, we will connect you with one of our therapists to get started!

What should I expect at my first therapy appointment?

On the day of your session, you’ll join the therapist’s meeting room with the provided link and the therapist will welcome you in from the waiting room at the start of your session. Although therapy is happening from the comfort of your home or office, you can expect the same level of privacy, professionalism, and efficacy from our treatment providers.

Are the appointments HIPAA compliant and secure?

We only use HIPAA-compliant, encrypted software that keeps your personal data secure. We follow the highest national standards for security and privacy for all clients and therapists. Sessions are NEVER recorded.
